Wilson - Funeral service for Mrs. Abigail "Abby" Ann (Richardson) Longest, 49 of Wilson are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson with Caleb Holbrook officiating and Rev. Mike Johnston assisting.  Interment will follow to Hewitt Cemetery. 

Abby was born June 8, 1974 in Healdton, OK to Mr. Jerry Claude Richardson and Mrs. Agatha Ann (Copeland) Richardson.  She departed from this life on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.  

Abby was raised south of Wilson all her life attending Wilson Schools where she participated in FFA.  She graduated from Wilson High School in 1992.  Abby attended Southern Oklahoma Vo-Tech obtaining her LPN and had also attended East Central University.  She worked for the Ardmore Veterans Center for over 6 years, working in the nursing field most of her life.  Abby was blessed with two children, Jacob and Alisha whom she cherished.  She married Kevin Longest on September 11, 2020, together making their home outside of Wilson.  Abby enjoyed reading, gardening, and fishing.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wilson. 

Preceding her in death was her mother, Agatha in 2017; and her grandparents, Jim and Hazel Copeland and Robert and Flo Richardson. 

Abby is survived by her husband, Kevin of the home; son, Jacob Colton Richardson of Lone Grove; daughter, Alisha Ann Longest of the home; father, Jerry Richardson of Wilson; brother, Bobby Richardson of Wilson; and by a host of other family and friends. 

Pallbearers will be Jason Canales, Clay Bell, Jason Honea, Mike Copeland, Brad Gray, and Timothy Nipp.  Honorary bearers will be her Wilson High Class of 1992.  

Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5-7 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.
