Alice Faye (Risenhoover) Hartman

Wilson- Services for Alice Faye (Risenhoover) Hartman are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery in Wilson.


Alice was born August 3, 1947, at Snyder, OK to the late Mr. William “Bill” Risenhoover and Mrs. Mildred (Calvary) Walker. She departed this life Sunday, February 11, 2024, at her home in Ardmore.


Alice was raised in Fox where she attended school, graduating with the class of 1965. After graduating she began her work career as a nurse working for the Wilson Nursing Home for almost 16 years continuing her work at Lakeland Manor in Ardmore. Alice spent her life caring for others, first in the nursing homes and then privately. She cared for Michelle and Bud Harmons’ mother, Elsie, Irene Kerps, and later for Emmitt Hutchens wife, Charolette. Alice was a nurse for around nine years to each of these families. She loved to garden and spend time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed working puzzles, playing cards, and playing dominos.


Preceding her in death are her parents; Husband, Calvin Lee on July 9, 2017; son, Punk Hartman; sister, Hester Thompson; granddaughter, Autumn Trusty.


Alice is survived by her daughter, Paula Sears and husband John of Healdton; daughter, Lieasch Lee of Lone Grove; brothers, Billy Risenhoover and wife Karen of Ada and Charles Foster and wife Vonnie of Moore; grandchildren, Becky Williams and husband Jordan, Patrick Ray Harris and wife Ashley, Morgan Hartman, Rachael Cox and husband Preston, Hailey Hartman, Foster Trusty, Hunter Trusty, Tristen Trusty, and Eric Miller; great grandchildren, Poet Phillips, Daxton Cox, Kayden Cox, Wylie Porter, Mazikeen Cox, Hadley Trusty, Chevelle Cobb, Wyatt Tibbs, and Willow Tibbs; special cousins, Evalee Russell and Terrel Jean Stephenson; Close friends Alice considered family, Rosie Skelton, Karen Ausbrooks, Liz and Mark Caudle, Michelle and Bud Harmon; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.


Pallbearers will be Patrick Harris, Hunter Trusty, Becky Williams, Kevin Trusty, Tristen Trusty, and Foster Trusty.


Honorary bearers are Karen Ausbrooks, Rosie Skelton, Donald Allen and the entire Fox Class of 1965.


Family visitation will be held from 6 – 8 P.M. Tuesday evening at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson.


The family would like to express their great thanks to Jr Simpson and Michelle with Good Shepherd Hospice of Ardmore for their exceptional care for Alice.
