Arthur Louis Kent

Wilson - Mr. Arthur Louis "Lou" Kent, 84 of Wilson departed from this life on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at his home. He was born on December 11, 1935 in Oroville, CA to the late Mr. Albert W. Kent and Mrs. Ethel Norma "Day" Kent. Cremation services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.

Lou was raised in Oroville, CA where he graduated high school. He joined the U.S. Air Force serving honorably for two years as an airplane mechanic. Lou returned to Oroville and soon developed a Propane Retail business called K Gas Company. He worked within this industry for over 50 years, retiring in 2005 after moving to Oklahoma.He married the former Mrs. Loyce Allred on July 30, 2006 at Oroville, CA. Lou always loved golfing and making his own golf clubs.

Preceding him in death are his parents; wife, Stella Kent; brother, Don Kent; and sisters, Marjorie Wirth and Janice Kent.

Lou is survived by his loving wife, Loyce of the home; son, Don Kent and wife Kathy of Reno, NV; daughter, Charisse Fenner and husband Brad of Reno, NV; step children, Linda Dodson, Gary Johns, Joe Johns, Stevie Pottberg, David Jay Allred and James Nolan Allred; 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; sister, Beverly Walker of Oroville, CA; brother, Dwight Kent of Oroville, CA and a host of other family and friends.
