Barbara Ann Bassett

Ardmore – Cremation services for Mrs. Barbara Ann (Olcovich) Bassett, of Ardmore are scheduled at Alexander Gray Crematory of Ringling. She departed this life on Sunday Oct. 16, 2022, at her residence in Ardmore.

Barbara was born April 19, 1949, at Portsmouth, VA to the late Theodore Alden Olcovich, Sr. and Dorothy Ann (Thayer) Olcovich. She was raised primarily in California, residing at Upland, CA, for more than twenty years, while raising her children. Barbara was a wonderful cook and homemaker to her five children. Travelling to many events during her children’s adolescent years.

Barbara moved to Ardmore in 2004 and worked as a healthcare provider for Healthcare Innovations. She always loved to read books and look after her cats. She loved all animals and also enjoyed watching sports.

Preceding her in death are her parents; and brother, Theodore Olcovich, Jr.

Survivors include her five children, Christine Marie Brady of Ardmore, Albert Edward Brady and wife Cassie, David Alden Brady and wife Kasia of Camarillo, CA, Stephen Edward Bassett, Jr. and wife Rachel of Boise, ID and Thomas Magnum Bassett and wife Delilah Ann of Ardmore; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.
