Barbara Louise (Jackson) Hollingsworth

Ardmore - Services for Barbara Louise (Jackson) Hollingsworth, 71, Ardmore, will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 10, 2015 at the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel at Wilson, with Rev. Monk Firestone officiating. Interment will follow at the Dixie Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Barbara was born July 15, 1944 at Duncan, OK to the late Mr. Edward Ralston Jackson and Mrs. Edna Mae (Watkins) Jackson. She departed this life Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Ardmore.

Barbara was raised in the Ratliff City area attending school at Fox where she graduated from High School. She married Mr. Wesley “Butch” Hollingsworth on September 11, 1967 at Durant. They made their home in several communities. Barbara always worked outside of the home, working several odd jobs including being a cashier lastly. Butch preceded her in death on August 21, 2008. Since that time, Barbara has been a resident of Ratliff City. Barbara loved to read, watching the history channel on TV, cross stitching, puzzles, and arranging flowers.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Butch; her parents; brothers, Dean Jackson, Billy Jackson, and Cameron Jackson; son-in-law, Joe Stout.

Survivors include her daughters, MyLynda Stout of Ardmore and Michele Himelright and husband Brian of Madill; son, James Hollingsworth and wife April of Tulsa; grandchildren, Micheal Waller, Cheyanne Himelright, Danyel Himelright, Alexander Hollingsworth, and Jessica Hollingsworth; 2 great grandchildren, Cashlee Hatley and Jaxon Waller; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Casket Bearers are Brian Himelright, James Hollingsworth, Micheal Waller, Alex Hollingsworth, Brett Himelright, and Billy Cloud, Jr.

Honorary Bearers are Dale Moore and David Bailey.

Family visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home in Wilson.
