Graveside Services for Mrs. Becky Ann Tipton, 55, of Ardmore are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Hewitt Cemetery Pavilion in Wilson, OK. with Chaplain Linn Stearns Officiating. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Becky was born August 26, 1957 in Ardmore, OK. to Mr. Odus Lee Southerland and Mrs. Bettie Jo ( Mize) Southerland. She lost her battle after 4 years of a strong and positive fight against lung cancer on Friday June14, 2013.

Becky was raised in the Ardmore area and attended school at Zanies . She married Mr. James Murray Tipton November 12, 1974 at Gainesville, TX.. Becky was a wife and mother who devoted her life to caring for her special needs child. She enjoy spending time with her sister Connie and with her children and grandchildren. Becky enjoyed shopping and liked going to the lake and ocean . She was an avid OU fan. Becky always had a positive attitude and it reflected through her beautiful smile.

She is preceded by her husband , James Murray Tipton ,February 14, 1994; Brother, Glenn Southerland; Stepmother, Janice Southerland.

Survivors include her Two Daughters, Mandi Goodman and husband Jake of Ardmore, OK., Kristi Tipton of Ardmore, OK. ; Granddaughters, Abbey Goodman , Ashley Egbert; Sisters, Connie Gaither and husband Larry of Ardmore, OK., Nancy Jamison of Ardmore, OK., Judy Tarver of North Carolina, Casandra Haught and husband Dustin of Wilson, OK.; Mother,Bettie Wood of Ardmore; Father Odus Sotherland and friend Betty Gaston of Wilson, OK.; Numerous other Family and Friends.
