Betty Lavone Noble

Lone Grove- Services for Betty Lavone (Lane) Noble, 83, of Lone Grove are scheduled for 10 A.M. Friday, February 17, 2023, at the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson with Dr. Walt Spradling officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the Butler Cemetery in Lane, OK. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.

Betty was born December 22, 1939, at Lane, OK to the late Mr. Lee Arthur Lane and Mrs. Ina Mae (Peeler) Lane. She departed this life Monday, February 13, 2023, at the Southbrook Nursing Home in Ardmore.

Betty was raised in Ardmore attending school there. She was blessed with three children, Joe, Betty “Jane”, and Kyle. While raising her children she worked as a waitress and later was employed at the Veterans Center in Ardmore as a custodian. Betty loved crossword puzzles, playing Bingo, and going to garage sales looking for antiques. She also liked to garden and was known for her canned beets. Betty was a great baker, baking breads and pecan pie. One thing she loved the most was being able to help raise her grandkids, watching them grow up over the years.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Lee and Ina Lane; sisters, Dorothy Ann Lane on February 7, 1945, Thelma Bolding on March 28, 1971, and Mary “Alice” Wilson in 2015; son, Joe Nichols, January 22, 2022, and a nephew, Billy Bolding on October 27, 2018.

She is survived by her daughter, Betty “Jane” Dudley and husband Greg of Lone Grove; son, Kyle Nelson Noble II and wife Charlotte of Ringling; grandchildren, Joey Nichols, Mindy Gill, Laura Grissom, Greg Dudley II, Kyle Nelson Noble III, and Kelly Taylor; great grandchildren, Joseph, Hannah, Jordan, Kassie, Jacob, Bethany, Cannen, Natalya, and Axe; great great grandchild, Jaylan; numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Noble II, Kyle Noble III, Greg Dudley II, and Joey Nichols.

Honorary Bearers are Jacob Nichols, Jordan Nichols, Joseph Nichols, Cannen Coleman, and Jeremy Gill.
