Ringling- Memorial services for Billie Glenn Camplain, 73, of Ringling, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Ringling.

Billie was born July 23, 1950, at Ringling to the late Mr. Billie Camplain and Mrs. Idabell (Marshall) Camplain. He departed this life Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Oklahoma City.

Billie grew up in Wilson where he graduated with the class of 1968. While in school he was active in track and field where he participated and won many medals in shot Put and Discus. Billie began working in the oilfield as a pumper after graduation. He was employed by Westheimer-Neustadt which later changed ownership and become Kaiser-Francis. Billie continued his career with them for 40 years. With his first marriage to Jan Johnson, he gained two special daughters, Becky and Amanda. Billie was later married to the former Ms. Jean Marie Johnson and to this union they were blessed with a son, Caelen Camplain. He enjoyed many years of hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his coffee shop buddies which he seen at least once or twice a day.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Billie and Idabell and his wife, Jean Camplain on April 9, 2017.

Survivors include his daughters, Becky Camplain of Marlow and Amanda Elroy and husband Shawn of Marlow; son, Caelen Camplain of Ames, Iowa; brother, Rick Camplain and wife Malinda of Wilson; sisters, Linda Park of Moore and Brenda Parrott of Ardmore; three grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, other family and friends.
