Billye Lucille Webb

Wilson – Funeral Services for Mrs. Billye Lucille Webb, 73 of Wilson is scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday October 19, 2012 at the Assembly of God Church of Wilson with Pastor Dustin Wright and Rev. Mike Griffin officiating. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery in Wilson. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Billye was born August 18, 1939 at Clarita as the oldest child to Horace Clinton and Elizabeth Lucille (Hawley) Maynard. She departed this life Monday October 15, 2012 at Ardmore.

Billye was raised in Clarita graduating from High School there. She married the late Mr. Cecil E. Webb at Gainesville, TX and they moved to Wilson in 1970. Billye was always a devoted homemaker and housewife and worked outside her home in healthcare. She was the activities director at the Wilson Nursing Home for many years just retiring a few years ago. She loved to be involved at Church always lending a hand at every activity, dinner and fundraiser. Billye was a member of the Wilson Assembly of God Church. Cecil preceded her in death on March 2, 2000.

Also preceding her in death are her Parents, Daughter Michelle Presley; Brothers, Jesse and Paul and Sister Jeanette.

Survivors include her Daughter, Crystal Griffin and husband Mike of Sand Springs; Son, Mike Webb of Wilson; A grandson who was also like a Son, Mark Glenn and wife Chelsey of Ringling; Two Stepdaughters, Wanda and Vicki; Grandchildren, Dawn and husband Shawn, Karen and husband Shannon, Brandon and wife Heather. Great Grandchildren, Matthew, Ashlee, Elijah, Chloe, Tracien and Keller. Numerous other church family and friends.

Pallbearers are Randy Shepard, Brandon Griffin, Mark Glenn, Matthew Bunch, Boyd Salsbury, and Clint Maynard.

Honorary Bearers are Willa Dean Towler and Imogene Lowery.

Family visitation will be from 6-8pm Thursday evening at the funeral home in Wilson.
