Bobbie Ruth Davis

Funeral Services for Mrs. Bobbie Ruth (Gilcrease) Davis, 83, formerly of Rubottom is scheduled for 11:00 am Wed. June 26, 2013 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Ringling. Interment will follow at the Orr Cemetery in Orr, OK.

Bobbie was born July 11, 1929 at Rubottom, OK to the late Mr. Emitt E. Gilcrease and Mrs. Linnia (Rogers) Gilcrease. She departed this life Saturday evening June 22, 2013 at her home in Sherman, TX.

Bobbie was raised at Rubottom attending school at Courtney. She married Mr. Julian “Red” Davis on August 31, 1948 at Gainesville, TX. They moved to California living there for a short while before moving back to this area. They have been residents of Sherman, TX since 1959. Bobbie was a devoted a wife. She was always kind and easy going and was an excellent homemaker.

Preceding her in death is her Parents; Infant Brother, Francis Burl; Brothers, Skeet and Forrest.

Survivors include her loving husband; Julian “Red” Davis of Sherman, TX; Sister in law, Bonnie Newcomb and her late husband Glenn of Noble, OK; Brother in law Bill Davis and wife Vada of Midwest City; Numerous other family and friends.
