Bobby Dale Doss

Ringling – Funeral Services are scheduled for Mr. Bobby Dale Doss, 81, of Ringling at 2:00 PM Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Ringling. Interment will follow at the Hillcrest Memorial Park of Ardmore.

Bob was born October 28, 1933 at Ringling, OK to the late Mr. Everett Doss and Mrs. Gladys Mae (Stroud) Doss. He departed this life Saturday Nov. 8, 2014 at Ardmore.

Bob was raised in Ringling where he graduated high school. He attended the University of Oklahoma College and soon after returned to this area. He married the former Beverly Hitt at the Ringling United Methodist Church. Bob managed Stroud Lumber Co. of Ringling for many years and also was a cattleman. He enjoyed camping at the lake, hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Ringling United Methodist Church.

Beverly preceded him in death on October 28, 2012. Also preceding him in death are his Parents; and a sister Betty Milson.

Survivors include a Daughter, Kelly Doss of Ardmore; Sister, Joyce Abshire of Oklahoma City; Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers are Mike Abshire, Randy Milson, Larry Milson, Bill Sneed, John Bumgarner and Phil McAnally.

Honorary Bearers are Bill Stroud, Eugene Marshall, Emmitt Morris, Walter McAnally, Tom Hildebrandt and Mike Moore.

Family visitation will be from 5 to 6 pm Monday evening at Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.
