Bobby Lynn Vails

Wilson - Graveside services for Mr. Bobby Lynn Vails, 57, of Wilson are scheduled for 11:00 am Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the Hewitt Cemetery Pavilion in Wilson with Jeff Jones officiating. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Bobby was born July 26, 1957 at Oklahoma City to late Mr. Billy Jack Vails, SR. and Mrs. Hazel Neldeen (Barker) Vails.

Bobby moved to Wilson in 1971 from Marshville, MO. He left school at early age to work in the Oilfields. He was soon blessed with a daughter, Connie and remained in this area owning and operating the DX station in Wilson.

Bobby moved around quite a bit, residing in Oklahoma City and Corpus Christi, TX. He owned the Orbit Lounge in Oklahoma City for several years before moving back to Wilson to share his life with his wonderful grandson Dylan.

Most recently Bobby was baptized at the Ash Street Church of Christ of Wilson and has enjoyed attending since. Some his favorite things to do was playing XBOX with Dylan and just spending time with his family.

Preceding him in death were his Parents; brother, Billy Jack Vails, Jr. and a nephew David Vails.

Survivors include his daughter, Connie Plunk and husband Jason of Wilson; brothers, Royce Vails of Ada and Dean Vails of Wilson; sister, Wanda Louise Vails of Wilson; grandson, Dylan Plunk and numerous nieces and nephews and other family.

Pallbearers are Pat Powell, Mark Gazaway, Dean Vails, Jason Plunk, Bobby Flynn and Robin Gaston.

Honorary bearers are Royce Vails, Johnny Richards and Jeff Warren.
