Brenda Elaine Thomason

Ringling - Funeral Services for Brenda Elaine (Henry) Thomason, 66, of Gainesville, TX are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, February 21, 2022 at Church of God Fellowship in Ringling with Sister Ellen Abshire officiating. Interment will follow at the Petersburg Cemetery south of Ringling. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Ringling.

Brenda was born on Jan. 9, 1956 at Redkey, IN to the late Mr. William "Pete" Henry and Mrs. Marcella (Kimble) Henry. She departed from this life on Monday, February 14, 2022 at her home in Gainesville, TX.

Brenda was raised in Indiana where she attended school. There she met and soon married Ronnie Thomason on Sept. 9, 1974 at Redkey, IN. They moved to this area in 1978, where Brenda primarily was a stay-at-home mother and housewife. She loved doing puzzles and fishing and was a past member of the Church of Nazarene.

Preceding her in death is her parents, son, Johnnie and a brother, Don Henry.

Survivors include her loving husband Ronnie Lee Thomason, Sr. of the home; sons, Ronnie Lee Thomason, Jr. and spouse Cecilia Carter, Travis William Thomason and wife Carrie, all of Gainesville, TX and Joe Thomason- Abshire and wife Jennifer of Ringling; sisters, Sally Bumbalough and husband Larry of Portland, IN and Alice Henry of Kentucky; grandchildren, Travis Jack Thomason- Abshire, Seth Grover, Ashlyn Anderson and Kiya Anderson; great grandson, Legend; numerous other family and friends.

Casket bearers will be Bucky Lenderman, Anthony, T.J. Ballard, Randy Ridenour, Dewey Taylor, Bruce Miller and Don Thomason.

Family visitation will be held Sunday from 5 to 7pm at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Ringling.
