Wilson – Memorial Services for Retired Command Sergeant Major James Dewayne Randolph, 69, of Wilson, OK are scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, December 7, 2012 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Rev. Wayne Howard and Dr. Leonard Ezell officiating. Inurnment services with Military Honors will follow at the Veterans section of Rose Hill Cemetery of Ardmore.

Mr. Randolph was born August 21, 1943 at McAlester, OK to the late Mr. Claude Randolph and Mrs. Maebell (Thompson) Randolph. He departed this life Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Ardmore, OK.

Mr. Randolph retired after 35 years of service in the United States Army. He served in every leadership position from Squad Leader to Command Sergeant Major of the National Training Center at Fort Irwin, CA, the U.S. Total Army Personnel Command and 24th Infantry Division Fort Stewart, GA. He also served in several infantry divisions including , the 45th (National Guard), the 8th, the 4th and the 172 nd Light Infantry Brigade and also nearly 10 years as Drill SGT at Fort Polk, LA and Fort Leonard Wood, MO.

His overseas tours included Germany, Korea and Alaska. He served in Combat in Vietnam, Saudi Arabia and Iraq. Mr. Randolph was very decorated with awards and retired from the United States Army in 1996 and soon made his home in Oklahoma residing in Ardmore. He was employed with the Ardmore Veterans Home and was united in marriage to the former Lilly Johnson. She preceded him in death 2 short years later. He and the former Carolyn Chamberlain were united in marriage on March 20, 2010 at the Country Tabernacle in Cheek, OK. They made their home in Wilson.

Also preceding him in death are his Parents, 2 Brothers- Caroll and Jimmie and Infant Sister, Patty Ruth.

Survivors include wife Carolyn (McGaughy) Randolph of the home; Daughters, Sherry Semento and husband Tony of Keller, TX, and Pamela Smith and husband Major Dirk Smith, Jr. of Clarksville, TN; Five Stepchildren, Kent Fondren, Carrie Ficklin and husband Scott, Amy Norton and husband Jeremy, Julie Chamberlain and Laura Johnson; Six Grandchildren, Andrew, Ian, Evan, Jackson, Hayden, and Brianna; Three Step Grandchildren, Cassie, Breven and Vanden; Sisters, Lillian Edwards and husband Fred of South Lake, TX, Beth Ann Randolph of Ardmore, Barbara Weaver of Stroud, and Mary Weaver of Chandler; Brother, Johnny Randolph of Ardmore; Nephews Ty Randolph and Michael Randolph; and Niece, Deborah Hoskins.

Family visitation will from 6-8 Thursday at Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.
