Carolyn Ruth (Waldrum) Carr, of Wilson, peacefully departed this life at her residence on November 10, 2020 at the age of 69 years, 1 month, and 4 days. No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home.

Carolyn was born on October 6, 1951 to the late Mr. Jesse Leon Waldrum and Mrs. Margie Ann (Smith) Waldrum in Oxnard, California. She moved around and traveled a lot with her family as a child but mostly grew up in Kentucky. She graduated with the Caldwell County High School class of 1969. After high school she met the love of her life Mr. Clifford Edward Carr. They were united in marriage on January 13, 1970 in Princeton, Kentucky. They would move around to many places including Germany while Mr. Carr served in the military. She was a devoted homemaker and mother. She loved her family and took great pride in making sure her children and grandchildren were taken care of. Carolyn had a passion for music and passed this down to her children. She was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Carr is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Wesley Deevon Waldrum and Gerald Lee Waldrum; sisters, Janie Rosalee Summerford, Joyce Ann Jones, and Pamela Gail Waldrum; granddaughter, Izabella Marie Carr and great grandson Stetsen Jay Stoker.

She leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Clifford Edward Carr of the home; sons Clifford Duane Carr and wife Tina of Lebanon, TN, Kevin Scott Carr and wife Leann of Labanon, TN, Kristopher Jason Carr and wife Sharona of Lebanon, TN, and Dakota Edward Carr of the home; daughters, Jamie Lynn Carr of the home; Brittany Lyn Carr of Alabama, and Autumn Dawn Carr of Alabama; brother, Jesse Ray Waldrum and wife Loretta of Princeton, KY; 24 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; many other relatives and a host of friends.
