Graham - Funeral Services for Mrs. Charlcia Mae Cantrell, 96 are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at the Graham Assembly of God Church with Bro. Dan Stewart officiating. Interment will follow to Mount Olive Cemetery in Healdton.  Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ratliff City.

Charlcia was born June 3, 1927 in Chatanooga, OK to the late Mr. Charles Calvin Chitwood and Mrs. Ollie Mae (Trigleth) Chitwood.  She departed from this life on Friday, October 20, 2023 in Comanche, OK.

Charlcia married the late Mr. Morris Everett Cantrell on November 16, 1944 in Cotton County.  To this union, they were blessed with two children, Charlene Maurice Cantrell and Muriel Ray Cantrell.  They mostly resided in Burkburnett in the early years of their marriage but made their home in the Graham and Fox areas.  Mrs. Cantrell loved to garden, fish, and go camping.  There was always usually a rose bush or two her grandchildren would ride their bikes into, and Morris would threaten to chop it down, yet they still remained.  Morris preceded her in death in 2004.

Also preceding her in death were her parents; daughter, Charlene Airington; great granddaughter, Makayla Cantrell; and siblings, Calvin, Ocie, Kelley, John, and Mary Chitwood.

Charlcia is survived by her son, Muriel Cantrell of Woodford; son in law, Haskell Airington of Ratliff City; grandchildren, Misty Mathews and husband Chris of Ratliff City, Frankie Cantrell and wife Nancy of Wilson, Aunna Barbatoe and husband Matt of Georgia, Brandon Cantrell of Woodford and Steven Airington and wife Carolyn; great grandchildren, Kaleigh and Cody Mathews, Casey and Brad Cantrell, Jessie, Hailey, and McKenzie Cantrell, Abigail, Thomas, and Michael Barbatoe, Jade and Ana Airington; and numerous great great grandchildren; and by a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Frankie Cantrell, Bradley Cantrell, Casey Cantrell, Chris Mathews, Mike Mathews, Steven Airington, and Cody Mathews.
