Charles Eugene Mcgehee

Wilson – Private Services are scheduled at a later date for Mr. Charles Eugene McGehee, 79, formerly of Wilson. He passed from this life Sunday, August 26, 2012 at the Ardmore Veterans Home.

Charles was born October 25, 1932 at Wheeler to the late Mr. George Anthony McGehee and Mrs. Gertie Belle (Knutson) McGehee. He was raised several places between Oklahoma, Texas and California and met the former Ms. Jean Harlow Branson at Wichita Falls, TX . They were united in marriage on April 21, 1956 and moved to Wilson in 1968. Charles worked as a welder for many years in the Oilfield.

Mr. McGehee was a veteran of the United States Army serving 3 years during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Wife Jean, December 1, 1988 and 2 brothers, Leon and Don.

Survivors include his Two Sons, C. Wayne McGehee and wife Cindi of Lone Grove, and Tony McGehee and wife Carolyn of Ardmore; Sister Virginia Rasmussen of Lebanon; 13 Grandchildren and 13 great Grandchildren. Numerous other family and friends.

Arrangements are under the care of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.
