Wilson – Funeral Services for Mr. Charles “Chock” Wayne Greenroyd, 66, of Wilson is scheduled for 3:00 PM Monday, March 18, 2013 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Chaplain Jim Branch officiating. Interment will follow at Bomar Point Cemetery of Wilson.

Charles “Chock” Wayne Greenroyd was born October 5, 1946 north of Ringling, OK at the community of Dixie to late Mr. Iven Lestle Greenroyd and Mrs. Ruby Maurine (Doyal) Greenroyd. He departed this life Thursday, March 14, 2013 at his home in Wilson.

Chock was raised in Ringling graduating from Ringling High School in 1964. He married the former Ms. Imogene Patrick Taylor on November 21, 1964 at Ringling, OK. In the early 1960’s , Chock began employment with the Dr. Pepper Bottling Co. and then later Coors Bottling Co. working as a supervisor at both. His final employment was at the Integris Rehabilitation Center of Oklahoma City providing occupational rehabilitation within the Jim Thorpe Rehab Center. He retired from there in 2004 after 15 years of practice. Chock enjoyed riding motorcycles, boating, gardening, fishing, and playing pool. He was always very outgoing with a willingness to help anyone in need.

Preceding him in death is his Parents, Lestle and Maurine and a brother, Donnie McMillen.

Survivors include his Wife Imogene of the Home; Children, Gena Lincoln and husband Kevin of Shawnee, Chuck Greenroyd and wife Johnna, and Melissa Greenroyd- Nipp, all of Wilson; Grandchildren, Heather McCullough and Jason Bagby, Chase Duvall, James Con Nipp, Chane Lincoln, and Mikayla Greenroyd; Great Grandchildren, Alexia, Jace, Jaxon Bagby and Chase Lincoln; Brother, Jearl Greenroyd and wife Judy of Ringling; Sisters, Lana Hill and husband Barry of Burns Flat, Sherry Hanson and husband Jerry of Ardmore, and Nancy McMillen of Wilson; Brothers in Law and Sisters in law, Fern and AG Hacker , Wyvonnia and Owen Keel, all of Norman, and Sharon and Danny Gray of Wilson. Numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers are Jeff Whatley, Jared Hanson, Robby Greenroyd, Barry Hill, Sam McMillen, and Chris Taylor.

Honorary Bearers are all the Grandsons, Danny Gray, and John Nipp.

Family visitation will be from 5-6pm Sunday at the funeral home in Wilson.
