Cheryl Lynn Loring

Velma - Graveside services for Mrs. Cheryl Lynn (DeArmond) Loring, 53, of Fox are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015 at the New Velma Cemetery with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ratliff City.

Cheryl was born May 17, 1962 at Pauls Valley, OK to late Mr. Charles Ralph DeArmond and Mrs.Kay Beverly (Collins) DeArmond. She departed this life Saturday, October 31, 2015 in Fox.

Cheryl was raised primarily in the Fox and Velma area, graduating high school at Velma in 1980. She married Craig Loring on July 16, 1981 at Wichita Falls, TX . They made their home in Velma where Cheryl worked some jobs outside the home but mostly always was a homemaker and housewife. They moved to Fox in 2011 and have been residents of there since. Cheryl loved to sing and enjoyed shopping.

Preceding her in death was her father, Charles Ralph DeArmond, sister, Renee Collins, stepfather, Uless "Curley" Fields; grandparents, Cleo and Veda DeArmond and Rhube and Bertha Collins.

Survivors include her husband Craig Loring of Fox; son, Kelby Loring and wife Toni Marie of Ringling; daughter, Holly Nicole Smith of Elmore City; 4 grandchildren, Kraigen, Alivia, Nicholas and Zane; mother, Kay Fields of Duncan; brother, Greg Johnson and wife Patricia of Fox, and Bryan DeArmond of Velma; sisters, Marquita Sutton and husband Donnie of Loco, Ladonna Johnson of Chickasha and Gina Mercer of Velma; numerous nieces and nephews and other family.

Casket Bearers are Kelby Loring, Jarryd Loring, Zac Cable, Sam Johnson, Orry Lach, Justin Pedigo and Anthony Lauderdale.

Family visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Friday evening at the funeral home in Ratliff City.
