Ringling- No services are scheduled for Mr. Christopher Michael Ortega, 43 of Ringling. He departed this life Thursday Sept. 3, 2015 at Healdton. Cremation arrangements are being cared for under the direction of Alexander-Gray Crematory in Ringling.

Christopher was born on December 2, 1971 at Ft Worth, Texas to the late Mr. Benjamin Salgato Ortega and Ms. Rose Mary Maxwell.

Christopher was raised between Ft Worth, Glenn Rose, and Cleburne, TX during his younger years. He has resided in Ringling for the past 15 years. He has always loved doing tattoos and loved to draw. Christopher also liked to shoot guns and go fishing.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Mr. Benjamin Ortega and Ms. Rose Maxwell.

Survivors include a special mother whom raised him, Brenda Ortega of Cleburne, TX; two daughters, Ashley Dawn Smith of TX, and Crystal Macye

“Mac” Ortega of Duncan; son, “C.J.” Christopher Ortega, Jr. and wife Kelcee of Lone Grove; two granddaughters, Anaiya Taylor and Natila Ortega; one sister, Heather Wilbanks of Cleburne, TX; one brother, Todd Perry of Midlothian, TX; grandmother, Emma Harris of Cleburne, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
