Clayton Morris Griffin

Clayton Morris Griffin, age 37, of Yukon, passed away on July 21, 2019 at his residence in Yukon. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 26, 2019 at the First Assembly of God Church in Healdton with Rev. Quenton Newton officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Healdton. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Healdton.

Clay was born on July 20, 1982 in Claremore to Mr. Terry Morris Griffin and Mrs. Gayla Ann (Stewart) Ross.

He was raised in the Healdton area and attended school in Healdton, graduating with the Class of 2000. While growing up in Healdton Clay was a member of the Healdton First United Methodist Church. Clay had worked in the oilfield for many years and was currently a supervisor for National Oilwell Varco. He was an avid OU Sooners fan and enjoyed watching the Sooners play football and also enjoyed watching the Oklahoma City Thunder play basketball. He enjoyed playing golf, going to family get togethers and cooking out.

Clay loved his three children; Cole, Kadee, and Kenslee Griffin. He always loved attending their sporting events and watching them play. He was a loving father and will be missed by his children.

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers; Roland Griffin, Grady Stewart, and Jim Culver.

He leaves to cherish his memory to his father, Terry Griffin and wife Melanie of Healdton; mother, Gayla (Stewart) Ross of Oklahoma City; son, Cole Griffin of Mustang; daughters, Kadee and Kenslee Griffin of Mustang; three sisters; Courtney Baldo and husband Matheus Baldo, of Katy, TX, Caycee Griffin of Healdton, and Cennedi Griffin of Healdton; grandmothers, Pat Griffin of Healdton, Pat Webb of Harrison, AR, and Sharon Culver of Healdton; Numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and a host of friends.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Andres Flores, Brock Goode, Cullen Goode, James Goode, Joshua Jackson, and Scott Shipman.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jonathan Clubb, Tony Griffin, Trey Jackson, Robert Jobe, George Mihecoby, Shane Phillips, Jason Smoot, Robbie Tolbert.

Family visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Thursday evening at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton.
