Coy Allen Langley

July 20, 1950 — February 21, 2023

Healdton - Funeral Services for Mr. Coy Allen Langley, 72 of Graham are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Healdton with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating.  Interment will follow to Mount Olive Cemetery in Healdton.  


Coy was born July 20, 1950 in Healdton, OK to the late Mr. Ernest Marshall Langley and Mrs. Maggie Mae (Mauldin) Langley.  He departed from this life on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 in Ardmore, OK. 


Coy was raised as one of nine children in the Healdton area all his life working alongside his brothers in the harvesting fields.  He met and fell in love with Ms. Shirley Joyce Seals and they were united in marriage in August 5, 1968.  She preceded him in death on September 6, 1997.  Coy worked within the oilfield some, owned and operated Langley's Mexican Restuarant in Ardmore with Shirley for a number of years before he worked for the Carter County District 2 as a heavy equipment operator until 2001.  He later married Ms. Jodene Boles on October 9, 1998 and she had also preceded him in death on July 29, 2004.  Coy really enjoyed anything to do with music, playing in a band, "Rain Makers" and he loved spending time with family. 


Preceding him in death were his parents; infant brother, Gilbert; wives, Shirley and Jodene; daughter, Sharon Rivard; grandson, Chad; sisters, Ernestine Murray and Waynell Murray; and a brother Earl Langley.


Coy is survived by his children, Jeannie Butler and husband Tommy of Duncan, Joyce Habenicht and husband Lee of Texas and Larry Brown and wife Yvonne of Oklahoma; brothers, Harold Langley and wife Ruth Ann, Don Langley and wife Gayle, Glen Langley and wife Peggy, and Michael Langley and wife Debbie; special friend, Bobbie Martin; several grandchildren, great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends. 


Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.


Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6-8 P.M. at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton.
