Cynthia Marie (Morriss) Orr

Ringling- Private family inurnment services for Cindy Orr, 61, of Bailey, TX, will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday,

November 12, 2022, at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of

Alexander Gray Crematory in Ringling.

Cynthia Marie (Morriss) Orr was born November 22, 1960, to the late Mr. Clarence Edward Morriss and

Mrs. Goldie Luellen (Kennedy) Morriss. She departed this life Saturday, October 15, 2022, in Bailey, TX.

As a child Cindy and her family moved numerous places, from California to Iowa and later Ringling, OK

where their family originated. Cindy married the love of her life, Jackie Orr, when she was 18 years of

age and together they moved to Illinois but made their home in Bailey, TX sometime in the 90’s. She

loved building and decorating things, making their house a home. Cindy was a collector of many things

with a love for M&M memorabilia. She loved to shop and decorate for all of the Holidays. Cindy was so

loved and admired for her outgoing and fun-loving personality by all who knew her.

Cindy is preceded in death by her husband, Jackie in 2011; parents, Clarence and Ellen Morriss; siblings,

Sue Bailey, Freddie Morriss, Sr., Danny Morriss, and JR Morriss.

She is survived by her siblings, Carolyn Morriss of Shenandoah, Iowa, Georgia Hurst and husband Butch

of Ringling, Sonny Morriss and wife Joyce of Ringling, Nancy Jackson and David of Lone Grove, Franny

Thompson and husband Larry of Bailey, TX, Larry Morriss of Ringling, George Henry Morriss and wife

Sandy of Wilson; many nieces and nephews, other family, and many friends.
