Mrs. Dana June (Bachman) Denton

Wilson – Graveside services for Mrs. Dana June (Bachman) Denton, 51, Oklahoma City, are scheduled for 4:00 PM Friday, October 9, 2015 at the Lone Grove Cemetery with Dr. Alton Fannin officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Dana was born July 25, 1964 to the Mr. Arthur Ray Bachman and Mrs. Anita Juline (Barker) Bachman. She departed this life Thursday, October 1, 2015 in Oklahoma City.

Dana was raised in Wilson attending school there until moving to Midland, TX in 1972 where she finished out her school years. After graduating she remained in the Midland area and later married Mr. Ralph Michael Denton on August 9, 1994 at Humble, TX. Together they resided at Kingwood, TX from 1994 to 2003 they then moved back to Midland, TX for a year prior to moving to Carlsbad where they opened Denton Family Medical Center in 2006. Mike unexpectedly preceded her in death on August 25, 2006. Since that time Dana has been with her family residing in Oklahoma. Dana’s reason for existence was her children. She always loved to cook and spend time with her family.

Preceding her in death besides her husband in 2006 was her grandparents, Bob and Cleo Barker, and Arthur and Nanie Bachman.

Survivors include her son, Jacob Michael Denton who is stationed in Italy with the U.S. Army; daughters, Taryn Morin of Maine and Rachael Mariah Denton of Eufala; mother, Anita Rhodes of Ardmore; father, Arthur Bachman and wife Julie of Midland, TX; two sisters, Shari Bachman- Everitt of Oklahoma City, and Reannon Brown also of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren, Cameron and Easton Morin; numerous other family and friends.

Family visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm Thursday evening at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson.
