Ratliff City - Funeral Services for Mr. Darrell Lynn Morgan, 38, of Ratliff City are scheduled for 1:00 PM Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Ratliff City Cemetery Pavilion with Bro. Michael Sanchez officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ratliff City.

Mr. Darrell Lynn Morgan was born June 4, 1974 at Ardmore to his Mother, Mrs. Clista Annette (Morgan) McCarty. He departed this life Saturday February 16, 2013 at Ardmore.

Darrell was raised in Healdton graduating from High School there in 1992. He joined the United States Air Force and received a medical discharge during boot camp due to a knee injury. He then attended LPN school at the Vo- Tech Center of Ardmore. Darrell was employed at several nursing homes and hospitals in the area as an LPN. Later he started a career in the funeral business as a funeral directors assistant working at Resers Funeral Home of Healdton for many years. He was presently employed as a cook at Simpsons Cash and Carry in Ratliff City. There he adored his employers, Mark and Cindi Simpsons who he had a great respect and love for. Darrell always had a very outgoing personality, kind heart and a very unique sense of humor. He lived his life for his nieces, AdaLynn and Allie.

He is preceded in death by his Father whom raised him, Lynn McCarty in 1996; his Best Friend, Corey Roberts and an Uncle, Ike Poor.

Survivors include his Mother, Clista “Sam” McCarty of Healdton; Sister, Stephanie Marler and husband Mike of Ratliff City and Katherine Stearns of Lone Grove; Brothers, Terry Brown of Stratford and Teddy Brown of Arkansas; Grandmother, Bobbie Morgan of Healdton; Nieces whom he so loved, Allie Ramming and AdaLynn Marler of Ratliff City; Nephew, Chay Stearns of Lone Grove; Other family Kim Chancellor and husband Chris and their children, Devin, Coltan, and Kaycee all of Fox; Aunts and Uncles, Richard Morgan, Laura and Mitchell Pickelsimer, Rhonda and Lucas Perkins, Vicki and Coy Blacklidge. Numerous cousins and other relatives and many special fabulous friends whom include Kenna, Jimmy, Lisa Lou and his God Daughter- Keirstein and many, many, many others.

Pallbearers are Derek Shrader, Joe Bill Dunigan, Chris Chancellor, Jimmy Parker, Clifton Kirby, Stephen Carroll and Josh Waddle.

Honorary Bearers are Mitchell Pickelsimer, Michael Pickelsimer, Richard Morgan, Lucas Perkins, Mike Marler and Devin Chancellor.

Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Friday evening at the funeral home in Ratliff City.
