David Dean Hudson

March 15, 1941 — September 25, 2015

Ringling - Memorial Services for Mr. David Dean Hudson, Sr, 74, formerly of Ringling are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday September 29, 2015 at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery Pavilion with Bro. Grant Hudson officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Fort Sill Casualty Team. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander~Gray Crematory of Ringling.


David was born March 15, 1941 to the late Mr. Earl Preston Hudson and Mrs. Doris Lynette (Bushong) Hudson. He departed this life Friday September 23, 2015 at his residence in Mannsville.


David was raised primarily at Ringling, residing with his grandmother. After graduating high school, David joined the United States Army. His primary military occupation was a truck driver and mechanic. He retired from the 101st Airborne United States Army in December of 1983 as an E7. His foreign service consisted of Germany, Korea and Vietnam and he was decorated with numerous medals, commendations and badges.


After his military involvement, David moved back to this area, most currently residing at Mannsville. He loved watching his birds, going fishing and tinkering with his lawn mower.

Preceding him in death were his Parents; brother, Earl and sisters, Sandra Duncan and Ginger Dollahite.


Survivors include his wife Frances of the home; son, David Dean Hudson, Jr. and wife Trish of Rogers, AR; grandchildren, Jacob Barrett of Conway, AR, Brittany Hudson and Emily Hudson, both of Rogers, AR; sisters, Cathey Black and Mary Hudson, both of Vernon, TX; numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.


A special thank you to Aspire Hospice Nurses and Staff, especially Jennie, for their most kind felt care and support.


Family visitation will be held form 11am to 1pm prior to the service at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Ringling.
