David Earl Sauls

Ringling - Memorial services for Mr. David Earl Sauls, 52, of Ringling are scheduled for 10:00 am Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Ringling with Joe Wilkerson officiating. Cremation services are under the care of Alexander Gray Crematory of Ringling.

David was born on Feb. 10, 1969 at Chapel Hill, NC to the late Jesse Earl Sauls and Margie Marie (Taylor) Sauls. He departed this life on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at his home in Ringling.

David resided in Southeastern North Carolina most of his years, moving to Ringling in 2016. He married the former Angie Wagner on Feb. 27, 2011 in Jacksonville, NC. They opened "The Ringling Depot" where David enjoyed working the last few years. He always did some type of maintenance work and loved to build things out of wood. He loved painting everything "blue devil blue" and could build anything he set his mind to. He was very proud of his two children Ryan and Tricia for serving their country within the military. David was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ringling.

Preceding him were his parents; infant daughter, Amanda Sauls and a son Jonathan Sauls.

Survivors include his wife Angela W. (Mathis) Sauls of the home; children, Ryan Wagner of Ft. Polk, LA, Tricia Hazelwood and husband Brandyn of Augusta, GA and David Sauls and wife Hillary of Greensboro, NC; sister, Trudy Cook and husband Ken of Swansboro, NC; brother, Edward Earl Sauls of Alabama; mother in law, Patricia Hovastak of Ringling; grandchildren, Kammie Kay, Emery, Wyatt, Darcy, Sullivan, Lilly and Landon; special niece, Elizabeth Vollrath and numerous other family and a host of friends.

Honorary bearers are Lyndal Van Buskirk, Butch Scifres, Tony Apala, Kelby Loring, Kevin Edwards and Charlie Cargile.

Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday evening at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Ringling.
