David Kelly Trammell

Ringling – Graveside Services for Mr. David Kelly Trammell, 59, of Ringling are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at the Orr Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Carroll officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.

David Kelly Trammell was born September 26, 1953 at Ardmore to the late Mr. David Vernon Trammell and Meryl Joy (Roberts) Trammell. He departed this life Thursday, February 28, 2013 at his home near Ringling.

David was raised at Ringling graduating from Ringling High School in 1972. He joined the United States Army where he performed in Rodeos across the nation for the Military. He received his honorable discharge in 1975 and soon returned home. David was a bull rider and rodeo clown for many years and worked mainly in the Oilfield on drilling Rigs. He most recently was employed for All American Oilfield at Kenai, Alaska. He and the former Ms. Diana Adams were united in marriage on November 9, 2007 at Marietta. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his kids, grandkids and his very best friend Jim. David enjoyed cooking; arrowhead hunting and he loved his pets.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, and a nephew Trevor Trammell.

Survivors include his wife, Diana of the home; Daughters, Heather Cook and husband Brian of Luther and Kyndal Trammell and Fiancé Laremy Rhodes of Healdton; 3 Grandchildren, Sasha, Sarah, and Khloe and one other on the way; 2 Brothers, Scott Trammell and wife Donna of Breckenridge, TX and Jeff Trammell of Healdton; His best friend Jim Rapier and wife Debbie of Ringling; Numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are David Fine, Scott Trammell, Michael Rapier, Ty Hammons, Mark Trammell, and Dusty Riley.

Honorary Pallbearers are Jim Rapier, F.A. Copeland, Greg Hubbard, Ken Matthews, Laremy Rhodes, Brian Cook and Fred Wilson.

Family visitation will be from 6-8pm Monday evening at Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.
