Debbie Sue (Denham) King

Lone Grove - Debra “Debbie” Sue (Denham) King, 68, of Lone Grove, was born May 17, 1955, at Overbrook, to the late Mr. W.B. Denham and Martha (Dodson) Denham. She departed this life Thursday, April 11, 2024, at her home in Lone Grove.

Debbie was raised primarily at Lone Grove graduating High School with the class of 1973. She married Herman King on November 8, 1980, at Lone Grove. The couple made their home in Lone Grove where they raised their three children. Debbie was primarily a committed homemaker although she did work outside the household doing numerous trades, lastly at Wal-Mart. She enjoyed painting and loved gardening. Debbie adored flowers and foliage of every variety.

Preceding her in death are her parents; niece, Lisa Manning; sister, Linda Kay Ellis and brother, Jerry Denham.

Survivors include her husband Herman King of the home; daughter, Lori Ortiz and husband Jaime of Lone Grove; sons, Michael Paul King and Daniel King both of Lone Grove; sister, Kathy Covert; brothers, James Denney and wife Jane, Roy Denney and wife Betty, Charles Denney and wife Joanie, Wendall Denham, and Randy Denham and wife Lawania; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; numerous other family and many friends.

Cremation services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.
