Memorial Services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Friday, August19, 2022, at the Lone Grove Assembly of God Church. Services are under the direction of the family.

Ms. Deborah "Debbie" Jean (Holder) Wright, 66 of Ardmore was born August 29, 1955, in Duncan, OK to the late Mr. Marlin W. "Buddy" Holder and Mrs. JoAnn (Gilliam) Holder. She departed from this life on Friday, August 12, 2022, in Sulphur, OK. Cremation services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.

Debbie was raised in Healdton, OK where she also attended Healdton High School, graduating in 1973. Following high school. Debbie began working for Oklahoma Natural Gas at their Healdton Office and later transferred to Ardmore, where she retired after 27 years. Debbie had the gift of gab and certainly never met a stranger. She had a way of listening and making everyone feel like they were important when talking with her. Debbie loved to have a good laugh and always had a hell of a story to tell. Debbie loved her people fiercely; her two children and her grandbabies were the absolute light of her life.

Preceding her in death were her parents; sister, Dianne Phelps; and a son in law, Robbie Shirley.

Debbie is survived by her son, Jason Wright and wife Kim of Burleson, TX; daughter, Lindsay Shirley of Ardmore; brother, Jerry Holder; sister, Marla Stewart and husband Dave; grandchildren, Jaxon, Khloe, Apple, and Stevie Jae; and by a host of other family and friends.
