Donald Gene Aycox

Ardmore – Graveside Services for Donald Gene Aycox , 62, of Ardmore are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Reck cemetery with Jason Williams officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Donald Gene Aycox was born January 27, 1952 at Ardmore, Oklahoma to Mr. Kirby Francis Aycox and Mrs. Betty Lou (Wilson) Aycox. He passed from this life Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Ardmore.

Don was raised in Ardmore attending school there. He entered the U.S. Army at the end of the Vietnam War and honorably served as a truck driver. After the Army, he drove a truck as a civilian and resided in the Ardmore area. Don was very proud of having been sober since 1978.He loved music and philosophy and was a very good mechanic.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Kirby and Betty Aycox and sister, Loretta Muse.

He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Lynn Aycox of Ardmore; sisters, Mary Baker and Donna Campbell both of Ardmore; brothers, Timothy Aycox and Kirby Aycox both of Pensacola, FL; numerous grandchildren, other family and friends.
