Donald Ray Pearson

Ratliff City- Mr. Donald Ray Pearson, 71, of Ratliff City departed this life Sunday, April 21, 2013 at his residence in Ratliff City. No services are scheduled at this time. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Crematory of Ringling.

Don was born December 21, 1941 at Mena, Arkansas to Agatha Pearson. He was raised in California and moved to Ratliff City, Oklahoma in April 1973. Don married the former Ms. Betty Ann Scholtzhauer September 12, 1959 at Modesto, CA.

Don worked as a truck mechanic in the Ratliff City area before gaining employment for Mobil as a Pumper. He pumped for Mobil for 18 years retiring 10 years ago. He remained living in Ratliff City on a farm. Don enjoyed drag racing and working on old cars and also enjoyed fishing.

Those who preceded him in death were his Grandparents, Marion and Dovie Arthur whom raised him.

Survivors include his wife Betty Ann Pearson of the home; Son, Donald Pearson Jr. and wife Connie of Healdton; Daughters, Charlotte Ann Holt of Ratliff City, Jeanette Lyn Fields and husband Randy of Elmore City; 7 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren; Numerous other Family and Friends.
