Dorothy Marie Nolen

Healdton - Funeral Services for Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Marie Nolen, 95 are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Healdton with Rev. John Harris officiating.  Interment will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park in Ardmore.  

Dorothy was born August 9, 1928 in Wirt, OK to the late Mr. James Robert Breshears and Mrs. Margaret Francis (Pryor) Breshears.  She departed from this life on Sunday, April 21, 2024 in Healdton, OK.

Dorothy was raised in Wirt until she married Malcolm Nolen on December 28, 1946 at Davis, OK.  They remained in Healdton until 1966 when they moved to Oklahoma City area where they worked in Civil Service at Tinker Air Force Base for 21 years.  They both retired in 1987 and they enjoyed traveling in RV's.  They moved back to Healdton in 2002 and Mac preceded her in death on February 25, 2016.  

She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Gary Nolen on April 17, 2009; half-brothers, Melvin Breshears and Malcolm "Mike" Breshears, and LeRoy Breshears; and a daughter, Debbie Nolen on July 31, 2021. 

Dorothy is survived by her daughter in law, Shirley Rustad and husband Rick of Bentonville, AR; grandchildren, Lori Richardson of Beaumont, TX, Jennifer Rhodes of Arlington, TX, and Shan Nolen and wife Kitty of Portland, OR; 7 great grandchildren; nephews, Lavell Engle and wife Betty of Healdton, and Mike Engle and wife Bonita of Atlus; and by a host of other family and friends. 

Pallbearers will be David Brady, Mike Brady, Kevin Engle, Konnor Engle, and Destiney Marlin. 

Visitation will be held Thursday morning from 9-10 A.M. before the service.
