Doyle Pulis

Ratliff City - Funeral services for Mr. Doyle Pulis, 58, of Pruitt City are scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday at the Ratliff City Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Ratliff City.

Doyle was born July 30, 1955 at Snyder, TX to the late Mr. Robert Henry Pulis and Mrs. Vesta Lee Pulis. He departed this life Monday, September 2, 2013 at Oklahoma City.

Doyle was raised in Pruitt City attending school at Fox. He was employed most of his working years in the Oilfield working on Well service Rigs as a floor hand. He married the former Ms. Connie Sue Bolding on May 4, 1981 at Burns Flatt, OK. They resided at various places within Oklahoma following he Oilfield moving to the Ratliff City area in 1985. Locally he was employed for several well servicing companies, lastly being employed for Basic.

Doyle was avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to watch television and do woodworking, making walking canes and such. He was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Healdton.

Preceding him in death is his Parents; 3 Brothers, Billy Bob, Kenneth Ray and Robert Dean; 3 Sisters, Virginia Lee, Barbara Ann and Ella Mae.

Survivors include his wife Connie Sue of Wynnewood; Sons, Mark Allen Pulis of Wynnewood and Robert Phillip Ellis of Sulphur; Sisters, Betty Oakley and husband Butch of Sulphur, Phyllis Bartlett and husband David of Prairie Grove, Ark.; and Tricia Bloodworth and husband David of Davis; Numerous other family, nieces and nephews.

Family visitation will be from 6-8 pm Thursday Evening at the funeral home in Ratliff City.
