Funeral Services for Mrs. Elida "Elly Rodriguez,48, of Fox are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday June 16, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Ratliff City with Ben Sanchez and Cyndi Rodriguez officiating. Interment will follow at the Ratliff City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ratliff City.

Elly was born May 20, 1967 at Lamesa, TX to Mr. Lucio O. Rodriguez and Mrs. Emma (Cantu) Rodriguez. She departed this life Saturday June 13, 2015 at Mercy Hospital of Healdton.

Elly moved to this area in 1980 attending school at Fox. She graduated from Fox High School in 1986. She later met Mr. Keith Hendrix and they made their home in Stigler. To this union they were blessed with one son named Joshua Hendrix.

When her brother, Freddy Rodriguez passed away on Dec. 20, 2011, Elly moved back to Fox to help her family. She has since resided in this area enjoying her family.

She loved to cook for everyone and always made the best salsa. Elly had a very caring heart and would do anything for anyone.

Survivors include her husband Keith of the home; Son, Joshua Hendrix of the home; Parents, Lucio and Emma Rodriguez of the home; sisters, Mary Casarez and husband Fred of Mt. Pleasent, TX, Catarina Lerma Rodriguez and husband Miguel of Ada, Mela Cullins of Healdton, Carol Teel and husband Mark of Wilson, Lucy Smith and husband Tommy of Ardmore, Anna Canfield and husband Dennis of Duncan; brothers, Sammy Santos and wife Joanna of O'Donnell, TX, Tino Salina of Woodrow, TX, Johnny Rodriguez and wife Cyndi of San Antonio, TX, Jamie Rodriguez and wife Amy of Hastings, Israel Rodriguez and wife Jamie of Bixbie and Michale Rodriguez and wife Gypsy of Lone Grove; numerous nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

Casket Bearers are Ruben Sotelo, Julio Sotelo, Scott Stoker, Joey Sotelo, Jerry Gordon and Miguel Lerma Rodriguez.

Honorary Bearers are Fred Casarez, Brian Rodriguez and Matthew Cullins.

Family visitation will be from 6-8pm Monday evening at the funeral home in Ratliff City.
