Florence O. Engelhardt

RINGLING - Services for Florence O. (Stepp) Engelhardt, 85, Lake Waurika, will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 19, 2015 at the Asphaltum Assembly of God Church north of Ringling, Oklahoma, with Dan Stewart and Jerry Gunsolus officiating. Interment will follow at the Dixie Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.

Florence died on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at her home. The daughter of Russell and Ollie (Sullivan) Stepp, she was born April 17, 1930 at North Center Point Community and raised in the same area. She attended school at Ringling, Fox and Mountain Home. After graduation she worked in Wichita Falls, Texas at the Clinic Hospital. She was married to Earl Engelhardt on June 9, 1950 at Sheppard AFB, Texas. Although tours of duty took them to Japan, Michigan and California, most of their married life was lived in the Wichita Falls and Dallas, Texas areas. They Moved to Lake Waurika after retiring in 1991.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Wade; four brothers, David, Ezell, Jerry and George; two sisters, Gladys Hutcheson and Doris Blassingame; daughter-in-law, Geri Engelhardt, and a Great Grandson, Jaxon Scott.

Survivors include her husband, Earl Engelhardt of the home; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Steve of Paris, Texas and David and T.K. of Wilson; two daughters and a son-in-law, Diane Ryan of Mansfield, Texas, Donna and Glenn Cobb of Waxahachie, Texas: three brothers, Carl of Kerrville, Texas, Raymond of Blanchard and Jimmy of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; three sisters, Fern Kirkpatrick of Fox, Sonja Stepp of Lake Waurika and Carolyn Martin of Stillwater, Oklahoma; fourteen Grandchildren and eighteen Great Grandchildren.

Nephews will be pallbearers; Glenn Stepp, Dale Stepp, Jimmy Stepp Jr, Wayne Andrews, Mike Kirkpatrick and Chris Martin.

Family visitation will be held from 2 to 4 pm Sunday at Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.
