Frances Inez Hix

Lone Grove - Mrs. Frances Inez (Woods) Hix, 72 of Lone Grove, was born August 29, 1947 in Madorah, Texas to the late Mr. Lawrence Gayle Woods and Mrs. Opal Jean (Martin) Woods. She departed from this life on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at a local hospital in Ardmore. Cremation services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton. No Services are scheduled for Mrs. Hix.

Frances was raised in Madill graduating from Madill High School in 1966. Soon after, she attended Murray State College studying bookkeeping. Frances married the late Mr. Donald Hix in Gainesville, TX. She worked from several different companies as a bookkeeper before she starting working in the health care industry as a CMA. Frances enjoyed reading, flowers, being with her family and she loved to crochet.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Donald in April of 2008; sister, Glenda King; infant brother, and brother, Larry Woods.

Frances is survived by her sons, Greg Quinton and wife DeeDee of Lone Grove, Robert Quinton and wife Trina of Lone Grove and Jerry Dewayne Quinton of Blue Ridge, TX; sister, Paulette Hutchinson; 6 grandchildren, Josh, Ronnie Gayle, Michael, Vivian, Victor and Violet; great grandchild, Holly and by a host of other family and friends.
