Gavin Raymond Wright

Ringling - Viewing and visitation services for Mr. Gavin Raymond Wright, 17, of Ringling are scheduled Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Ringling. Cremation services will follow at Alexander Gray Crematory of Ringling.

Gavin was born Feb. 23, 2005 at Petersburg, VA to Chad Raymond Wright and the late Ashley Marie Richardson. Gavin passed from this life July 25, 2022.

Gavin was initially raised at Dundas, VA attending school there. His mother preceded him in death on Dec. 20, 2020, thus relocating Gavin to Oklahoma to reside with his aunt and uncle. His move to Ringling was during the last part of his freshman year, and currently Gavin was enrolled as a junior of Ringling High School.

Gavin loved fast street cars, and his favorite and dream build was a Mazda Miata. He loved spending time with all of his friends online playing his favorite video game, "the need for speed" and listening to music. Gavin was currently trying to compose his own personal songs and always enjoyed being with his family.

In addition to his mother, also preceding him in death was a great grandmother, Elizabeth Harris.

Survivors include his aunt and uncle, whom thought of him as their own, Heather and Gary Grother of the home; father, Chad Wright of Virginia; sisters, Elizabeth Wright of the home and Hailey Wright of Warfield, VA; half-sister, Gracie Wright of Richmond, VA; brother, Noah Wright of Warfield, VA; grandparents, Pam Richardson of Dundas, VA, Harold Richardson of Dinwiddie, VA, Diana Hilliker of Chesterville, VA, Gwenda and Kerry Stepp of Ringling and Gary Grother, Sr. of Chatanooga; great grandparents, Tommy Harris of Gasburg, VA; other close family, Jolisa and Brandon; numerous other family and friends.
