George Duran Parra

Healdton - Funeral Service for Mr. George Duran Parra, 42 of Healdton are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Healdton Assembly of God Church with Bro. Bill Baker officiating and Tim Gonzales assisting. Interment at Mount Olive Cemetery will be at a later date. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton.

George was born May 7, 1979 in Fresno, CA to Mr. Joe Reyes Parra, Sr. and Mrs. Delia Juanita (Duran) Parra. He departed from this life on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at his home in Healdton.

George was raised in Kerman, CA attending and graduating from Kerman High School in 1999. He attended college for a short while before he and his brother played for the Panthers Baseball team. George met Brandi while in California moving to Oklahoma in 2014 making their home in Healdton. He enjoyed being around his little human, Brandi. and his dog, Hercules. George had a servant's heart, he loved the opportunity to minister to the homeless and anyone he was around. He was a member of the Kings Cowboy Church in Healdton.

Preceding him in death was his father; uncle, John Parra; and a step daughter, Shannon Isabell on December 25, 2012.

George is survived by his little human, best friend and love of his life, Brandi of the home; mother, Delia Parra of Kerman, CA; brothers; Lorenzo Parra and wife Hope of Kerman, CA and Joe Parra, Jr. and his fiancé Tracy Doyle of CA; step son, Shaun Rector, Jr.; step grandchildren, Isaiah Lucas Rector and Joseph James Rector; mother in law, Tina Carr-Gonzales and husband Tim; nieces, Jazmin Neveah Parra and Jami Carr; god son, Axel Todd Barnes; and by a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Derek McCullar, Manny DaVila, Doug Kleven, Guy Baker, McKotah Smith, Terry Chandler, and Josh Jones. Honorary bearers will be Timmy Gonzales, Bill Baker, Dana Gossvener and Lorenzo Parra.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton.
