Gertrude Clara Leonard

Healdton - Funeral Services for Mrs. Gertrude Clara Leonard, 94, of Healdton, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 20, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Healdton with Philip Tallman officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, November 22, 2021 at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow, OK. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton.

Gertrude was born May 2, 1927 in Quanah, Texas to the late Mr. William Ray and Mrs. Cora (Burgi) Ray. She departed from this life on Monday, November 15, 2021 in Healdton. OK.

Gertrude was raised in Quanah, marrying the love of her life, M.F. Leonard when she was 14 years old in 1941. She worked at Goodlett, Texas at the school where she was a cook, janitor, and a bus driver; retiring in 1949. In 1951, they moved to Tulsa where she helped M.F. in construction after he retired from the military. He preceded her in death on September 20, 1991. Gertrude loved church and entertaining people. She would take anyone in need to help and she truly had a servant's heart. Gertrude loved to witness to others about the Lord and she was a member of the Healdton First Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death was her husband, M.F; 9 siblings; daughter, Sherry Fox; son in law, Philip Fox; granddaughter, Robin Fox; and 2 great grandchildren.

Gertrude is survived by her daughter, Jean Iseley of Healdton; 6 grandchildren, Bethany Moore and husband Jacque, Jonathan Fox and wife Virginia, Keith Iseley and wife Juanita, Kimberley Gierhart and husband David, David Iseley and wife Kimber, and Angela Iseley; 12 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren with 1 on the way; and by a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Cameron Duckett, Kyle Duckett, Jonathan Fox, Keith Iseley, David Iseley, Jacque Moore, and Dennis Howard.

Visitation will be held 6-8 P.M., Friday at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton.
