Gilbert Dale Boles

Wilson– Funeral Services for Mr. Gilbert Dale Boles,79, of Wilson are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel, Wilson, Oklahoma with Rev. Dustin Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery in Wilson. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Dale was born May 26, 1933 at Healdton, Oklahoma to Mr. John Gilbert “Buck” Boles and Mrs. Robbie Gail (Hodge) Boles. He departed this life December 7, 2012 at his residence in Wilson, Oklahoma.

Dale was raised in Fox and was one of many children. He and his family moved back and forth from Fox, Oklahoma to Leveland ,Texas working in the cotton fields. He married Ms. Mary Aubrene Way August 4, 1955 in Gainesville, Texas. He and Aubrene made their home in Wilson, Oklahoma.

Dale worked in the oil well service industry mostly for Deans Well Service from where he retired from in 1992.

In his retirement years Dale pumped wells and enjoyed riding around. He also enjoyed tinkering with lawnmowers and bicycles. Dale loved his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a member of the Zaneis Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death are his Parents ; Brothers: R.L. , Hershel, Cletus, Jerry and Kenneth; Sisters: Helen Wicks, Geraldine Pierce and Infant Baby Girl ; Son in law: James “Thorpe” A. Shaw.

Survivors include Wife, Mary Aubrene (Way) Boles of the Home; Two Daughters, Cheryl Boles of Wilson, Ok. and Peggy Shaw of Wilson, Ok.; Sisters, Nelda Floyd and husband John of Maricopa, Ca. and Shirley Baird of Taft, Ca. ; Four Grandchildren, Kim, Jessica and husband John, Kyle who was like a son and wife Kaylee and Jamie; Five Great Grandchildren, Page, Brianne, Joshua, Jacelyn and Kyler; Adopted Daughter, Ashley Shores; Numerous other Family and Friends.

Pallbearers are Kyle Hacker, Jamie Shaw, Mark Glenn, Shane Ogletree, John Harrell, and Bill Leasure.

Honorary Bearers are Great Grandchildren and Mike Skelton.

The Family would like to extend a special thank you to Cross Timbers Hospice, Doctors, Nurses and Staff.

Family visitation will be Monday December 10, 2012 from 6-8 P.M. at Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson, Oklahoma.
