Gwendolyn Jean Treadwell

Healdton - Funeral Services for Mrs. Gwendolyn Jean (Morris) Treadwell, age 82, of Healdton, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 2, 2019 at the Assembly of God church of Healdton with Pastor David Daniels officiating and Rev. John Harris will assist. Interment will follow at the Mount Olive Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Healdton, 65 Golf Course Rd.

Gwen was born on December 31, 1936 at Prague, OK to the late Mr. Orville B. Morris and Mrs. Velma Jean (Huff) Morris. She departed this life on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at her home in Healdton.

Gwen was raised in Prague and Pauls Valley moving to Healdton when she was in the 8th grade. She continued school there graduating from high school in 1954. Gwen married Robert Doyle Treadwell, Sr. on March 5, 1957 at the Healdton Methodist Church. The couple was blessed with four sons, raising them at her family home in Healdton. Gwen was a very devoted homemaker and mother to many. She loved all sports especially OU softball. Gwen also loved her dogs, gardening, and traveling. She was a lifetime member of the United Methodist Church of Healdton.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Bob Treadwell in 2012; daughter-in-law, Tammy Treadwell and a grandson, Nicholas Brian Treadwell in 1991.

Survivors include her sons, Robert Treadwell, Jr. and spouse Pamela Carmona of Oklahoma City, Stephen Treadwell and wife Pamela of Healdton, Brian Mark Treadwell of Healdton, and David Treadwell of Oklahoma City; sister, Phyllis Davis of Healdton; sister-in-law, Pat Moore of Falconhead; grandchildren, Krystal McKinley and husband Jeremy, Robert Treadwell, III, Stephen Treadwell, Jr. and wife Amanda, Christopher Trey Treadwell and spouse Sydney Armer, Lindsey Dianne Treadwell and spouse Brennan Clay, McKenzie Treadwell and spouse Sarah Morrison, David Treadwell, Jr. and wife Courtney, and Dee Dee Bennett and husband Jordan; 3 great grandchildren; numerous other family and friends.

Casket Bearers will be Robert Treadwell, III, Stephen Treadwell, Jr., Christopher Trey Treadwell, David Treadwell, Jr., McKenzie Treadwell, and Jeremy McKinley.

Honorary Bearers are Kade McKinley, Jaxon McKinley, Jordan Bennett, and Ronnie Webb.

Family visitation will be held from 2 PM to 4 PM on Sunday evening at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Healdton.
