Jakob Battle Bailey

Jakob was born on January 21, 2013 at Ardmore and departed this life on April 5, 2015 at his home in Wilson at the age of 2 years 2 months and 14 days.

Jakob loved music especially the musical introductions of movies. He was very active in climbing making it evident he was not afraid of heights at all. Jakob loved going outside to play and loved even more going to the park. Being the active boy that he was, Jakob loved superheroes, but Spiderman was his favorite. He was quite the hugger, showing love to those around him.

Preceding him in death is his great grandmother, Alice Berry; grandfather, Billy Dean Brumley; and great grandfather, Billy Leon Bailey.

Survivors include his parents, John and Alice Bailey of Wilson; grandparents, Clover Meredithof Wilson, Charles Ray Meredith of Ardmore, Tina Bailey of Ardmore, and William Bailey of San Angelo, TX; great grandparents, Mary Bailey, Cecil Berry, and Wayne Matthews; aunts and uncles, Michael Bailey, Michael Phillips and wife Julie, Mitchell and Olivia Ingram, Katrina Ingram, Rachael Resendez, Lindsey Hill, and Jeremy Resendez; numerous other family and friends.
