James Earl Tow

August 24, 1970 — November 29, 2013

Ratliff City - Funeral Services for Mr. James "Jimmy" Earl Tow, 43, is scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday Dec. 3, 2013 at the Ratliff City First Baptist Church with Rev. Derek Bolin and Mark Belvin officiating. Interment will follow at the Marlow Cemetery of Marlow. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Ratliff City.


Jimmy enetered this life August 24, 1970 at Norman to Mr. James Elmer Tow and Mrs. Linda Sue (Graham) Tow. He departed this life Friday, November 29, 2013 at his home in Oklahoma City.


Jimmy was raised at Blanchard, Healdton and North Little Rock, Ark where he graduted high school. After graduating, he immediatley joined the United States Navy where he served honorably for the next two and half years. Afterwards, he went into woodworking and then began working in the Oilfield. His passion was working as a salesman in the Oilfield. He began working for M&M Supply Co. in the summer of 1995. Over the next 18 years he served in every capacity a supply company has to offer, including store manager at three different locations.

Those that worked with Jimmy said there was "no one more outspoken, confident, or driven than Jimmy Tow. He was a force to be reckoned with, and gained the respect of everyone in the company and the industry. There was no challenge too tough....." Jimmy was an avid golfer and pool player. He also enjoyed going to the Pawn shops and fishing.


Preceding him in death is his Grandparents, Earl and Leo Graham, Elmer Tow, Waylon and Edith "Granny" Pittman and an uncle Kenny Wayne Tow.


Survivors include his Son and Best Friend, James "Jimmy" Ethan Tow of Oklahoma City; Father, James Tow and wife Rocille of Ratliff City; Mother, Sue Herron and husband Bill of Blanchard; Sisters, Jamie Sue and Bryan, Dana Cil, both of Oklahoma City and DaChelle Luree and Scott of Lone Grove; Nieces who adored him Ashli and Paige; Nephew, Blake; Great Niece Avery Belle; Numerous Cousins, Aunts, Uncles and Friends.


Casket Bearers will be Matt Belvin, Luke Belvin, Mark Belvin, Keith Smith, Shane Martin, Chris Knipe, Michael Purdue, Wayne Tow and Blake Pierce.


Honorary Bearers will be Joy Jones, Randy Trachtenberg, Ed Foreman and Jay McKinsey.
