James Lee Baker

Wilson - Mr. James Lee Baker, 54 of Wilson departed from this life on December 27, 2023 at a local hospital in Ardmore, OK.  He was born February 2, 1969 to the late Mr. William Franklin Baker and Mrs. Beverly Ann Baker in Pauls Valley, OK.  Cremation services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson. 

Memorial Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 19, 2024 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel. 

James was raised in Pauls Valley and had worked in the oilfield all his life.  He married Mrs. Armenda Jennings in Graham, OK on February 14, 1991.  She preceded him in death on November 3, 2008.  James enjoyed going to the creek and noodling, OU football, telling jokes, and having an ice-cold beer.  Most of all, he loved his grandbabies.  

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Armenda; grandson, Keelan Baker, and a brother, Steve Baker. 

James is survived by his daughters, Bethany Baker, Brandi Baker, and Emily Baker; son, William Baker; brother, Anthony Baker; sister, Kim Pelletier; grandchildren, Karson Teders, Caylee Thompson and Baeleigh Thompson; and by a host of other family and friends.
