James Wesley Stidham

James Wesley Stidham, of Ardmore, departed this life on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at his residence in Ardmore at the age of 75 years. Cremation services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.

James was born on February 10, 1947 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to the late Mr. Danial James Stidham and Mrs. Juanita (Yarbrough) Stidham.

Mr. Stidham honorably served in the United States Army. He married his wife Oleda on February 12, 1968. James had been a truck driver for over 42 years. He loved spending time with his wife and family and taking care of his goats.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Danial and Juanita Stidham; daughter, Bernice Stidham; siblings, Mary Faye Murphy, Bertha Palier, Jewel Stidham, Dorthy Bray, Bobby Stidham, Burl Stidham, Shawna Doer, Danial Stidham.

James is survived by his wife Oleta Stidham; daughters, Sheila and her husband Glen Needham; Elizabeth Jones, Lavonda Pinnick, Susan Hicks; 18 grandchildren; and 33 great grandchildren; siblings, Francis West, Diane Miller and husband Roy; Doris Lambeth and husband Pat. Many other relatives and a host of friends.
