Jana Lynn Demory

Jana Lynn (Almon) Demory, of Ardmore, departed this life on Monday, December 6, 2021 in Mercy Memorial Hospital of Ardmore at the age of 53 years, 10 months, and 19 days. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Emmanuel Baptist Church of Ardmore with Rev. Donny Custer and Gary Don Almon officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery of Ardmore. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.

Jana was born on January 18, 1968 in Ardmore, OK to the late Mr. Alford "Shorty" Almon and Mrs. Carol "Jerry" (Spurlock) Almon.

Jana was raised and lived in Ardmore most of her life. She attended Ardmore schools and graduated with the Class of 1986. After graduation she married Steven Demory on June 14, 1986. Together they made their home in Ardmore where they would raise their two sons. Jana attended Southern Oklahoma Technology Center and became a medical assistant. She was currently employed with Rockford Family Care. Jana loved doing crafts and working in her gardens. She could grow most any type of plant or flower. Jana was a member of the Blue River Car Club. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Ardmore. Jana met Mr. Shane Bass in 2018 and they were engaged on April 13, 2018.

Jana is preceded in death by her parents, Alford 'Shorty" Almon and Carol "Jerry" Almon; a special aunt, June Gerholt; numerous other aunts and uncles.

Jana is survived by her fiance, Shane Bass of the home; sons, Josh Demory and wife Mariah of Ardmore, Jordan Demory and girlfriend Cheyenne Keith of Ardmore; father of her children, Steven Demory of Ardmore; sister, Carol Willingham and husband Paul of Lone Grove; two brothers, Terry Almon and his wife Lori of Durant, Gary Don Almon and his wife Lanette of New Albany, IN; Many other relatives and a host of friends.

Serving as casket bearers will be Drae Blanton, Blake Almon, Josh Demory, Jordan Demory, Steven Demory, and Shane Bass.

Honorary bearers will be Paul Willingham, Terry Almon, Gary Don Almon, Logan Bowling,Cullen Almon, and Jarren Almon

Visitation will be held from 6 - 8:00P.M. Friday, December 10, 2021 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.
