Jerry (Milliken) Arnold

Wilson- Funeral services for Wilma “Jerry” Geraldine (Milliken) Arnold, 75, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Friday, May 3, 2024, at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson with Bro. Doug Hickman officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Jerry was born November 17, 1948, at Lone Grove, OK to the late Mr. Horace Clifton Milliken and Mrs. Carrie (Hughes) Milliken. She departed this life on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at her daughters’ home in Cooperton, OK.

Jerry was raised in the Lone Grove area where she attended school. At an early age, she married the love of her life, Tommy “Red” Richard Arnold, on August 20, 1966, at Healdton. The couple made their home in Healdton and was blessed with three children, Charlotte, Cliff, and Travis. Jerry became employed at Uniroyal Tire Factory, in Ardmore, in 1974. She retired from Uniroyal after 30 years of employment in 2004. Jerry loved fishing, hunting, and was a garage sale queen. She loved to be on the go, no matter where it was to, especially if it included Mexican food or a trip to sonic. After Red preceded her in death on April 7, 2023, Jerry and her loyal feline companion, Daisy, went to live with her daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Brent in Cooperton, OK where she loved feeding cows and checking out the new baby calves.

Also preceding her in death are her parents; three brothers, Tommy, Gray, and Austin Milliken; sister, Rosella Vaughn; two grandchildren, Trey Remington and Abbie Lynn; 1 great grandchild, Colt Arnold.

Survivors include her daughter, Charlotte Lester and husband Brent of Cooperton, OK; sons, Cliff Arnold and wife Tammy of Krum, TX and Travis Arnold and wife Aimee of Blanchard, OK; sister, Jean Searles and husband Jeff of Centervill, South Dakota; sisters-in-law, Shirley Geurin and husband Gene, Chris Arnold, and Helen Milliken; grandchildren, Jacob Lester and wife Christina, Caitlyn Burnett and husband Chris, Garrett Lester, Keegan Arnold and wife Brittany, Kyle Arnold and wife Shambree, and Addison Arnold; 12 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Brian Geurin, Michael Geurin, Brent Arnold, Kyle Arnold, Keegan Arnold, and Brent Lester.

Honorary bearers are Mike Schofield and Garrett Lester.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 P.M. at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Shelly Hickman, Laura Schofield, Caitlyn Burnett, Angie McClool, Bethany Vanzant, and Jackson County Memorial Hospital Hospice for their unconditional support, love, and care they have provided to Jerry.
