Jimmy Bruce Richardson

Mr. Jimmy Bruce Richardson was born to the late Mr. Robert Parks and Mrs. Flo Logan (Pierce) Richardson December 6, 1951 at Coalinga, California. He passed away Friday May 23, 2008 at Ardmore, Oklahoma at the age of 56 years, 5 months and 17 days.

Jimmy was a past resident of this area, moving to Wilson from, Enid, Ok in 1964. He attended school at Wilson, later graduating from Wilson High School. Soon after graduation he joined the United States Navy serving honorably for 6 years as part of the Nuclear Submarine Fleet. He married the former Glenda Blackman December 27, 1980 at the Wirt Baptist Church near Healdton. They shared 27 wonderful years together, most recently living at Lake Texoma in Kingston. Jimmy had been employed at the Valero Refinery in Ardmore as a Machinist. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends on the Lake, boating and “Sea Dooing”. He was a man very proud of his family and loved each one of them very much.

Preceding Jimmy in death is both his parents, Father , Mr. Robert Parks Richardson, who passed away March 4, 1980 and his Mother, Flo (Pierce) Richardson who passed away August 31, 1996, and a sister named Joyce who passed away at the age of 3.

His survivors include his beloved wife, Glenda of the home, 1 Daughter Jodi Roberts of Healdton, 2 Sons, Buzz Gaither and his Fiancé Regina of Caddo, and Jeffrey Richardson and wife Kasondra of Durant. 5 Grandchildren named, Samantha, Amber, Lance, Chance and Dillan. 3 Sisters, Marjorie Remington of McCloud, OK, Marilyn Gaines of Lone Grove, and Marlene Steele of Oklahoma City. 2 Brothers, Johnny Richardson and wife Dee of Wilson, and Jerry Richardson and wife Agatha of Wilson. Numerous nieces and nephews, close Co-workers at Valero and other family and friends.
