Jimmy Cortez Huggins

Healdton- A Celebration Dinner in remembrance of Mr. Jimmy Cortez Huggins, 79, of Healdton is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 98 Matthews Drive in Durant, Oklahoma. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander-Gray Funeral Home and Crematory.

Jimmy was born December 7, 1934 at Durant, Oklahoma to Mr. Alfred Arthur Huggins and Mrs. Myrtle Mae (Maddox) Huggins. He passed from this life Friday, March 14, 2014 at Healdton, Oklahoma.

Jimmy was raised between Durant and Redding, CA. and graduated from Redding High School in 1952. He began working as a Drywall Finisher immediately. Jimmy worked as a Drywall Finisher all of his working years and loved his work. He married Lynda Stewart August 22, 1975 at Blue. They traveled and lived in the lower half of the United States following Drywall work. Jimmy and Lynda moved to Healdton 3 years ago and have been residents of there since. He loved to fish and being a Grandpa. Jimmy loved Lynda very much.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Alfred and Myrtle Huggins and Grandson, Jonathon Cortez Campbell.

Survivors include his wife Lynda Gail (Stewart) Huggins of the home; Daughter, Natasha Bourbeau and husband, Larry of Healdton, OK.; Sons, Jimmy Huggins of Las Vegas, NV., Allen Huggins and wife Penni of Big Springs, TX. and Cody Huggins and Brenda Lamb of Durant, OK.; Sister,FlorettaBriscoe of Las Vegas, NV.; Grandchildren, John “JR” Huggins and wife Kalie, Rebecka Huggins, Skilynn Bourbeau, Dakota Bourbeau, Joseph Brese, Lisa Stager, Montana, Megan and MO Miller, Lacey and Logan Huggins, Kimberly and Ashley Hill, Wes Nixon , Krista Huggins and Jama Sacco; Numerous other Family and Friends.
